Overview

Noma Collective is a remote work coliving and coworking community designed for digital nomads. It is not a family program in the traditional worldschooling sense — participants must have an existing remote job to join. However, it is relevant to digital nomad parents seeking structured community, coworking infrastructure, and curated travel experiences while working abroad.

The program runs in two- to four-week "Editions" at locations around the world. Each Edition includes accommodation, a community manager, a weekly schedule with fitness and daily community events, and weekend adventures. The workday is structured around standard 9-to-5 hours, giving participants a rhythm that supports remote productivity.

Noma Collective vets applicants for community fit through a booking process that includes a video chat with a team member.

What Families Say

Because Noma Collective is not a family-specific program, family testimonials are limited. Digital nomad parents who have participated tend to value the structured coworking environment and the social community, though the lack of children's programming means it works best for parents traveling solo or with a partner who can provide childcare during work hours.

Compared To

Noma Collective is fundamentally different from worldschooling programs like Boundless Life, The Hive Adventure, or Field School of Hvar. It has no education component and no children's services. Its value to worldschooling families is indirect: it provides a vetted, structured coliving and coworking environment for the working parent. Families who combine a Noma Collective Edition with independent homeschooling or a concurrent children's program in the same city could find it useful, but it requires self-directed planning for the children's side.

Compared to coworking spaces alone, Noma Collective adds community, accommodation, and curated experiences. Compared to Boundless Life, it is more affordable but offers none of the family infrastructure.

How to Apply

  2. A team member will schedule a video chat to assess community fit.
  3. Upon acceptance, book your Edition and arrange payment.

Visa Considerations

Most Editions run for two to four weeks, which falls within tourist visa limits for the majority of destinations. Noma Collective advises participants to verify entry requirements for their specific nationality and destination.
