Overview

Mirleft Cultural Cove is a worldschooling hub located in Mirleft, a coastal town in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region of Morocco. The program serves children ages 4 to 18 in four-week sessions and is run by Aliyah Santos.

A defining feature of Mirleft Cultural Cove is its explicit welcome of neurodivergent children. The program offers small group sizes, predictable yet flexible routines, and quiet spaces to support a range of learning needs. However, the program cannot support children with tendencies toward self-harm, aggression toward others, or property destruction.

What Families Say

Families appreciate the neurodivergent-friendly approach and the small, intimate group setting. The inclusion of practical support such as accommodation help, airport taxi transfers, and childcare for sole parents during evenings out signals a program designed with the real logistics of traveling families in mind. The Morocco location offers an affordable cost of living, and the program pricing reflects that accessibility.

Compared To

Mirleft Cultural Cove is among the most affordable worldschooling hubs available, at roughly one-third the cost of a Boundless Life month in Bali and one-fifth of a European Boundless Life location. It does not include housing (though it helps families arrange it), and it does not offer a proprietary curriculum or formal accreditation pathway. What it does offer is a welcoming, small-group environment with explicit neurodivergent support, something few competitors provide. The Morocco setting also gives families access to a culturally rich, non-European worldschooling destination at a low cost of living.

Compared to The Hive Adventure, Mirleft Cultural Cove is less structured around a specific educational framework (like the UN SDGs) and more focused on providing a supportive daily environment. Compared to Worldschool Pop-Up Hub, it offers a much longer engagement (four weeks versus one week) with daily programming rather than a curated itinerary.
